Breakfast was great, very good and a lot of options to choose from. Josephine was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants, for ski slopes, for buses and for really anything we needed. Was a wonderful experience and we will repeat, no doubt!

Eleanora was THE BEST server for us. I am Gluten free and lactose free and this young lady made me feel very special and catered for. She is superb at her job and cares a lot about her guests! And the chef(s) in the kitchen, they are amazing! This place's food is absolutely divine. Their menu changes everyday and it is NOT disappointing. The young lady behind the bar the first night we were there was fantastic as well. Everyone spoke English and we're all so very helpful. Location is fantastic and the views and spectacular. You MUST go up the cable car to the top of Ciampinoi and see the views. They are spectacular

Angelo Engel was our favourite hotel out of all of the places we stayed during our honeymoon. The entire place has incredible charm, having been kept in and managed by the same family for 4 generations. We only spent 3 nights there, but the staff knew us and made us feel very welcome. The buffet breakfast was truly exceptional - with an array of different jams and honeys, cold cuts, breads, and hot offerings - and some of the best filter coffee I have ever had. Dinner was equally as impressive, with 5 courses on the menu, excellent service, and assigned seating; the whole affair made us feel very special. Facilities are excellent, with a very relaxing sauna and spa area to be enjoyed and a large heated pool.

I liked everything: breakfast was fantastic, dinner was exceptional. We have planned to go out for dinner, but were too tired that evening and decided to have dinner in the restaurant of the Hotel. We loved it so much, that the next evening we had dinner at the Hotel too. Highly recommended! We also loved the outside whirlpool - fantastic experience! Perfect place for both 2-3 days or full week, as we stay. Super pool (indoor as well outdoor with heated water. We use it late evening and the temperature of water was super. Available sauna inside the building, and even more interesting cottage outside, after which you can jump into the snow or use jacuzzi outside.
