Machu Picchu
A sprawling site high in the mountains, the citadel of Machu Picchu lay hidden to the outside world until 1911. The most iconic of the Incan sites, visitors flock to see the impressive Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Three Windows and a ritual time-telling stone called the Inti Watana. Surrounding structures have been extensively restored, so you’ll wander between the buildings just as locals did all those centuries ago.

Don't miss the Opera in the 2000 year old Arena.
Don't miss the Opera in the 2000 year old Arena. A breathtaking bucket-list experience.
My number one tip if you are booking a seat on the stone steps is to choose one in a row at the front of the block of seats, so that you can stretch your legs out. Especially if you are tall.
The Opera is long (3-4 hours) and the rows of seats are close together plus it can be very hot at night in the Opera season.

Visit the opera even if you are not a fan.
Visit the opera even if you are not a fan. The arena inside at night is magical as lit by candles and sit fir a relaxed night out with locals. Seats on the stones are good value. By day, get a guide to talk you round or you miss the details that make it special.

Well worth a visit - the actual Arena is very impressive with all the side passages and side rooms and the ruin of the original outside wall. Also, the information provided inside on the wall panels is MOST informative. I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend a concert in the Arena but was able to close my eyes and imagine how spectacular it would be!!

Allow yourself several days to explore this incredible city.
Allow yourself several days to explore this incredible city. It's one of the cleanest, friendliest cities with fabulous architecture. It also has buildings from the Romans. Set on a river surrounded by the hills, it's simply stunning!!
We went to a concert in the Arena and it was fabulous.

An amazing venue and well worth a visit to see an opera.
An amazing venue and well worth a visit to see an opera. The cheaper tickets available from the box office on the day are fine if you don't mind being seated high up. Purchasing a cushion for the stone seating is strongly recommended.

The hostel is located close to the train station and 15 minutes walk to the Verona arena and the historical area of Verona. Easy check inn, the young lady from the reception desk very nice and helpful. Big room, nice and big bathroom, very clean.
This is such a beautiful hotel and I would stay here again, the food selection was brilliant. It was very clean too. About 25 minutes walk from Verona arena
Fantastic room, felt like the whole appartment, me and my mom, we had one room each. Super clean and very well equipped. Very close to main old town attractions, 15-20 minutes by walk. We came here to see a concert at Verona Arena and it took us only 20 minutes to get there by walk. Matteo is a very nice guy, when we arrived, he gave us a map of old town with some tips about main places to visit, and he even gave us a parking ticket and we could have left our car under our windows for 2 days. Matteo, grazie mille per tutto! :))
The stay was wonderful, we loved the recommendations for the tourist spots and restaurants, the room was clean and comfortable, the hotel is close to the tourist attractions, 15 minutes from the Verona Arena.
In Italy they are generally using a special system to unlock the doors via the handy, so, for the access you need the internet, but anyway it was very easy to enter the inside, both to building and the apartment. The flat is only 2 minutes walk to the Verona Arena. Nice place, nice flat. The picture is the view from the flat, an old nice but closed cinema building.
No-nonsense friendly family hostel, informal, easy going, large room, lovely people. Would return in a wink!
With a Lime scooter you are in Verona arena within 6 minutes.
Hotel is very central, very near bus stops and a short walk to the train station and the Verona Arena.
Breakfast has a large and varied choice.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Plenty restaurants and bars near by.
We got a very friendly welcome and a had lovely spacious room. The location is just a few minutes walk from the Verona Arena and safe underground parking is just across the street.
Breakfast is served to your table by the friendly team and the owner comes to make sure all is well whilst this is being served. It's a lovely place to stay and very convenient to everything. If you agree a time to arrive, you should make sure you arrive at that time as unlike a hotel it doesn't have a full time receptionist or staff on site.
It was a modern apartment inside an old building. Fabulous kitachen, comfortable bed. Wonderful big ensuite. it was just down the road from the Verona Arena and many restaurants, as well as a mini train that took you around the city.
